At Orchard Academy we believe that the Design Technology Curriculum supports children to develop their creativity, imagination and critical thinking skills.

Children are provided with the opportunities to research, design make and evaluate products that solve real and relevant problems within a variety of context, considering their own and others’ needs, wants and values. Our children learn how to take risks, becoming resourceful, innovative, enterprising, resilient and capable citizens.
